Welcome to Hoosier Cycling!

As the name implies, HoosierCycling.com is focused on cycling - and cyclists - in Indiana. What does this mean? It means that rather than try to cover all cycling across the US, this site focuses more on the great rides, clubs, and shops here in Indiana. Multi-day rides of interest from other states will be listed as well, however.

HoosierCycling's goal is to unite the cyclists from all areas of Indiana; not just one region or the other. Our attitude is geared more toward the recreational cyclist (road and mountain) and touring cyclist, rather than the racer. Not that bike racers aren't welcome - they are - but I don't intend to list races, results, or post articles about how to generate 1 more watt in a race. However, if someone comes along and wants to write such articles for the site, then we'll add "racing" to our focus as well.

That's what it comes down to... I can build the basic structure of this site. It needs enthusiastic friends to help decorate it. If you would like to contribute anything to the site, please do so. Click on "Contact" over there in the navigation.

Just a little about me...
I'm Larry. I live in Greencastle with my wife and step-son in a circa 1840 house. I work at The Bike Wave in Indianapolis, and I am a confirmed bike junkie. I do not look the part - too many years of IT contracts and McDonald's hamburgers have taken their toll. I am working at changing that, and making steady progress.

Go Ride.
